    I discovered all the computers in the room and only 3 of them show up in managed computers.  When i goto the PC under program files i can see that the agent is installed.

    If i try to install again it just stays in pending management.

    How can i get a pc as a managed pc if the agent is already installed

    Hello Martin,

    I have been struggling with a few (8 out of 285) clients that are behaving the same way you describe. There are (aparently) many conditions and reasons why some client agents install but do not connect/communicate with the SCE 2010 server, and it results in the symptoms you describe.

    You may want to have a look at the thread linked below. My problem is not resolved quite yet, but the thread contains a lot of suggestions and links to documents and procedures you can follow or apply - maybe one of them will lead you to the solution in your environment.

    I would like to suggest you check the Event Log on the management server and the problematic clients. If there are any related error, please let us know the details.

    The event log on the server i have things like 

    event 11771 Health Service Modules -Error getting state of service

    Error: 0x8007007b 

    Event 4000 Health Service Script

    GetSQL2008DBSpace.js : 0

    On the client i have 

    event 21016 opsmgr connector

    OpsMgr was unable to set up a communications channel to (servername) and there are no failover hosts.  Communication will resume when (servername) is available and communication from this computer is allowed.

    event 21006 opsmgr connector

    The OpsMgr Connector could not connect to (servername):5723.  The error code is 10060L(A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.).  Please verify there is network connectivity, the server is running and has registered it's listening port, and there are no firewalls blocking traffic to the destination.

    Looks like it was the firewall on the server after looking into it more
