    Hello,

    I am using SCVMM with Microsoft Testing Manager to deploy virtual images (from Lab Manager).

    Is there an elegant way to install different applications on the images and run changes to some settings?

    For example, I want to install on each PC Skype and set Firefox to default.

    I know I can run a start up script but I am looking for a real management tool to accomplish that...

    Any idea?

    Hello ,

    I recommend you to use System Center Orchestrator. That depends on scripts but you will make a standardization and easy management.

    For example ;

    Create a VM from template - Join Domain - The computers with 192.168.1.x starting ; Install x program - configure x part.

    1. Is it compatible with Microsoft Lab Manager?

    2. Do I have to supply the installation script? How will it know the command line to install, for example, Chrome?

    Hello lekfirlekfir,

    It is not supported yet with MS Lab Manager.

    Examples;

    This runbook automatize installation of  SCCM Agent on remote computer in the cloud.
