I have a Dell M5030. Today the wireless just quit working. Windows troubleshooting tells me to turn on wireless capability, but I do not have a physical switch.
Ipconfig release or renew get me: No operation can be performed on <profile> while it has its media disconnected.
Wireless LAN adapter <profile>: Media State: Media Disconnected
no yellow exclamation mark in hardware profile

Try pressing F2; that button controls wireless functionality.- Disarankan sebagai Jawaban oleh MrMikeMan 24 Juni 2012 22:59

Oh, I forgot to mention, I did press F2, did not work.
Also, disabled and enabled the wireless hardware. Also, did not work.
Thank you.

Found these two items via a google search:
To re-enable the NIC, go into the Internal Network Card Power Management section in QuickSet.
I found the "switch" in the mobility settings in the control panel. it is called the radio control and click launch and a window will open.
Does either item apply?

Hi,
How about disabling and re-enabling network adapter? If it doesn't work, I suggest reinstalling network adapter driver from Dell site.
