XP Mode will not complete install

I have tried a number of times even using system restore and get the same message. During install of xp mode at the very end, the line turns red and get message"Could not complete setup" New W7Pro 64bit install, all new, W7 activated
tried with min updates and also with most updates installed. Disabled security, defender, updates and everything that I thought could stop the install. Still get the same message, no code, no message. Anybody have a cure for this????

What's your CPU? An AMD Bulldozer-based CPU?

Hi,
Please check if there is a bootable floppy or bootable CD in your system. If so, please take them out.
If the issue persists, please disabled bootable DVD/CD option in BIOS.
