RDP Connections not disconnecting (To many sessions from 1 workstation)

Hi there,
When the users connect with RDP and they close it or maybe open another RDP, the sessions are not closing because I can see under the RDP management console that there are about x10 sessions for every workstation, its like they are stuck and not closing down, this means that each session takes a RDP license to login and the licenses become a problem since they are all in use.
This is on Server 2008 R2
Any Ideas?

Hi,
You need to configure the timeout and reconnection settings for Remote Desktop Session Host. We can use either Group Policy or Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration to achieve this. If you have multiple RDSH, it’s recommend to using group policies.
