Internet Explorer Status Spin Wheel keeps spinning

    Question

  • Hi Experts,

I have a weird problem, the Internet Explorer Status Spin Wheel keeps spinning on one of my website's login page even if the page is completely loaded. This is affecting our Performance testing as we cannot actually note the page load time etc. I tried the Multimedia option under tools menu but it didnt help.

Any help in this regards is greatly appreciated

    Thanks,

    Rahul

  • Hi Rahul,

Would you please let me know if the issue only occurs on your page or on every page? If the issue only occurs on your website, test on another computer. You can also paste the website link here and we will check it.

From IE side, I suggest running it with no add-ons and perform the clean boot to check the result.

    No add-ons

Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Internet Explorer (with no add-ons)

    Clean Boot

Regarding development question, you can ask in Internet Explorer Development forum.

  • I have the same problem. Have you perhaps discovered what was going on?

How about starting a new thread with your own details, including answers to the questions which were asked of the OP?

However, since this thread has been abandoned for over a year, maybe it would be Ok for you to answer here.

FWIW my suggestion would be to use IE9 Network Capture to find out which file is being requested but not being loaded.
