IE 9: Why can't I download anything

    Question

  • everytime i try to download anything, internet explorer closes. and i know it has nothing to do with my firewall, as if was off and i am using Webroot. i never had this problem with with IE 8, even with the windows firewall and Webroot running. wat's going on?

  • Check on Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab > Custom level.. > Download > File download, ensure "Enable" is selected, also try to reinstall IE9.

  • Hi,

     

    Trying to run IE9 with no add-ons or right click the shortcut and run as administrator.

     

    Also refer to the following KB to troubleshoot the IE issue. If any error is received, please let me know.
