Exchange and office 365 users on different forests

Good Day
I have a dedicated domain set up for office 365 sync\federation etc. however, my exchange server rests in another forest. would it be possible to use a hybrid deployment for such a setup. further clarification below:
2 forests
domain A in forest 1 with exchange
domain B in forest 2 without exchange, but to be used with office 365
can the exchange server in domain A be used with a hybrid exchange deployment in domain B for office 365
i apologize if my question is unclear.

mercoledì 4 aprile 2012 19:02 I, actually, have a customer doing this. There is no problem with having Exchange Federation (or simply Hybrid Coexistence) with disparate namespaces. The only paroblem you find is, if you are syncing from forest 1, the users in forest 2 will not appear in the GAL for forest 1 and visa verse for forest 2.
