Remove user from Everybody distribution group

Hi,
in default installation there is no distributiongroup everybody.So you have to create this group by yourself. But this meens you dont have to remove users from that non existing distribution group.
;-)

Hi dadockter,
The group(Everybody) was an user-created group rather than bulid-in one.
Did you see this group in EMC?
You can just remove the user from the Members tab in the group's properties page.
If it doesn't meet your needs, please provide more information about your question. E.g.
Exchange version, why you want to do it...

venerdì 8 giugno 2012 14:30It shows in EMC as Mail Non-Universal group. The add/delete options are greyed out in the Members tab.

Hi dadockter,
Please right click on the group and select "Convert to Universal Group", after that, you can modify the group.
Mail-enabled non-universal groups were discontinued in Exchange Server 2007/2010 and can exist only if they were migrated from Exchange 2003 or earlier versions of Exchange.
