    When the computer is restarted I get an message saying that Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown.

    The Stop 0x00000116 (VIDEO_TDR_ERROR) indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.
    Sometimes this problem can be fixed by upgrading the video drivers to the latest version.

    Anyway, you can upload the DMP file from the \Windows\Minidump folder to your Windows Live SkyDrive, make it publicly accessible and post the URL here, so we can analyze it.
