Lync federation to Google chat... issues..

I've been testing our Lync federation to Gchat.
There is a minor issue that's bothersome: When I chat with a gchat user, I enter a line, then another. The gchat user reports to me that my second line appears to just overwrite the first line. The subsequent messages I enter simply overwrites the previous one. The gchat user only is able to see one line which is the last message that I entered.
I've sent IM messages to my own gchat account that I access through my phone, and such issues don't happen. So I'm thinking it might be that if the gchat user is using a specific method of chatting (maybe through gchat on gmail on a browser or gchat client), this might happen...
Has anyone else seen this problem?

Hi,
Maybe the user use gmail to chat with lync client.
If the user use gtalk, I think maybe someting wrong with gtalk software. You can try to suggest the user to reinstall his gtalk application.
