- I'm trying to create a distribution list in Outlook 2007 off of a Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0 contact list and I get this error. Any ideas? I've tried both storing the distribution list in my Outlook contact list and in the Sharepoint contact list and neither work.

1 connect to list in outlook and log in
2 create a distro group
3 press save. - Outlook 2007 doesn't support creating Distribution List items in a connected SharePoint Contact List!

You cannot create Outlook distribution list from SharePoint group items. This functionality is not supported in WSS 3.0.
