    Hello,

    Does SCE natively support monitoring of windows client machines like opsmngr 2007, or does it only monitor servers like mom 2005?

    Yes, the monitoring parts of SCE are pretty much the same as in OpsMgr 2007...some things like Agentless Monitoring and clients in untrusted domains are not supported in SCE, but the OpsMgr Agent is the same.  You can monitor computers with the following Operating Systems:

     

    Win2k SP4

    XP SP2

    Win2k3 SP1/SP2

    Vista (Ultimate, Business, Enterprise)
