Windows media player stops playing audio after a few seconds

Hello,
I suddenly encounter problems with WMP 12 on Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate.
When I play MP3s or audio streaming or MKV (I have recent K-Lite codecs installed), it stops after up to 5 seconds.
WMV is played successfully.
Please help me fix it!

Hi,
Do you have checked the event logs? You may reset or restore Windows Media Player and then check it again.
