Where is the "find in library" option in WMP 12 ?

martedì 12 gennaio 2010 20:23The most favourite /useful feature in wmp 11 was the "Find in Library" option.......it was so easier to navigate through library than using the search box. me and my friends used to be a fan of wmp 11 and its ease of use compared to the stupid iTunes....and felt really proud to be a windows user. And look what you've done to this media player now....you've made it even stupider than that iTunes player........sigh.....is somebody in the wmp development team sabotaging microsoft......u know...maybe an apple fanboy who used to work at apple ?and there are lots of people out there who miss this option badly.....take a look.... http://www.pickabar.com/blog2/2009/11/06/they-took-find-in-library-out-of-wmp-12/and i also don't like the new "now playing" implementation in wmp 12....please microsoft......fire that idiot whoever decided to remove this vital feature from wmp 12 and add this with next SP1 for win 7.......or at least release wmp 11 for win 7......pls...pls..pls... i beg you.

Hi,
The option menu "Find In Library" was removed because this functionality is now part of Windows Search.
I understand that adding this option is more convenient for Windows users, I will forward this information to the appropriate department through our internal channel. Both the Microsoft Product Team and Development Team take into consideration all suggestions and feedback for future releases. Thank you.

Hello Vivian,
I see your reply is over two years old now and I was wondering how the hollow up is going.
Maybe you can post tour correspondence with the product/development teams. As I loyal windows user i feel no one is listening.
