Mapped Drives Login Script Issues

Hi All,
I have created a Script which maps Network drives for users depending on Security Groups.
There is a Dialogue box which appears at the end of script to show it has run and completed.
The script works as if i run it manually it maps the drives depending on groups.
I have put the script in GPO as a Logon Script for all users, this works fine for some users and not for others.
Windows XP users are fine
Some Windows 7 Users get the dialogue box saying script complete, But no drives are mapped.
Some windows 7 Users get the dialogue box and the drives map fine.
I cant spot a different in these machines besides physical hardware, they are on Windows 7 SP1 and in the same containers in AD.
Issue is definitely on the machine as it does not matter who logs in the drives will not map, but if use that same account on an XP machine drives map fine.
Now on the problem machines, if i run the script manually the drives map fine again.
So it seems GPO is not executing the script correctly for some machines? why would this be?
Also i have just added the script as a Scheduled Task in GPO and also left it in Logon Scripts,(because it is in 2 locations am expecting 2 dialogue boxes)
on the 1st dialogue box, still no drives, moments later i get the 2nd one and the drives now appear.
Please HELP! i dont want to run it as a Scheduled task :(

1. Do you have Wait for network... GPO?
2. Is there any evidence in Event logs?
3. Do you use persistent parameter and logoff script that unmaps?
4. What does audit say? (Audit at server.)

Hi,
I don't do Wait for Network, but i have just turned it on and will test and see. Saying that, i have tested by logging in and out, if this is on would it be different to me logging out and in?
Nothing shows on the Event Logs, not on client machine or DC's
I do unmap the Drive letter before mapping a drive to it YES.
Persistent parameter is not on, not sure what command to use for this, can you help?
Can you assist on how to check the Server Audit?
Thanks

Hi,
Seems the users that cannot see mapped drives have administrative priviledge. I think you may disable UAC for a test.

Hi,
Logon script uses a different token if the users have administrative priviledge. This is the cause.
