Pc locks up when copying files across network
- Im unable to copy any file from 1 pc to the other over the network, when I do, the pc with the file locks up and I have to reboot.
Im running 2 pc's over a wired network using a netgear router, both using windows 7 rc1 with avast as virus protection.
They can see each other fine, I can browse all shared folders they can run small exec's over the network to each other.
I've tryed copying a file to a laptop that has vista installed and still the lockups.
Homegroup is disabled on both pc's as 1 pc would freeze on logging.

- Was this machine an upgrade from an earlier beta of Windows 7?
I had this issue on an upgraded system. The issue was gone after a clean install.
Ray - No its a clean install on both machines. And they both suffer the same problem

I'm having similar problem on my new (clean) install of Win7 x64 RTM. It happens over wireless network with me, but not always. Happened once between another Win7RTM, and once between a Vista PC.
So have you been able to get it fixed?
PS: Although my main PC (the one that locks up) is connected threw Ethernet to the router, and then wireless to the others...
