    Receive this error when trying to update Virus and Spyware definitions.

    Error code: 0x80004004

    Error description: Windows Intune Endpoint Protection couldn't install the definition updates. Please try again later.

    Environment:

    Windows 7 64bit

    Hi Hartadmin,

    Is there any other Anti-Malware software on the machine or any software from Symantec?

    Does this happen on all your machines or just one?

    Try using Microsoft Fixit program, I have seen errors like this when I am trying to manually update a machine.  I have intune but I some time regulary check machine update by going to windows update.  Some time it will error out, then I will use microsoft fixit tool and it will fix the error.

    Its a cool utility
