Windows Intune Endpoint Protection disabled

Hi There,
I am experiencing an issue with intune Endpoint protection agent. I can installed successfully without an issue. However, Windows Security Center can report that "Microsoft Forefront client security reports that it is turned off."
Windows Intune Center shows "This functionality is not available because the windows intune endpoint protection is not installed on this computer "
I tried to uninstalled and reinstalled, installation works fine and Add or remove programs shows it is installed however it does not come up in Windows intune and action center.
We checked Forefront has been uninstalled from the machine, does not list in Add or remove programs.
Computer has been restarted several times, no luck.
Any idea ????

Hi All,
I found the solution.
Stop WMI Service from Services.
Rename WMI Repository .. c:\windows\system32\wbem\repository/
Restart WMI Repository Service back and related services like Security center.
Reinstall Endpoint protection or click on " Check updates' from intune center.
Fixed..

I have a question
I am using windows 7 and I don't see a WMI Service in Services, am I missing something.

I fixed this by refreshing the policy on the machine.
From the Intune Admin console find computer
right click and choose refresh policies
Took a bit for the computer to refresh but when it did the endpoint turned on
