    hello technet. microsoft forum member, i new in this forum and have question about my VM

    i already build 4 VM by Hyper-v

    when i open first VM it's no problem it's work as usual, but then i open second VM there's error message (can't open the second one)

    this is the screen shoot of the error

    anyone can help me with this problem ??? tq b4

    like Vincent suggests, go to your machien settings and set your dvd drive option to an iso or none. when using the physical drive, only one machine using the physical drive can be active at a given time

    An ISO should be able to be shared by multiple VMs without a problem.

    But a virtual disk (VHD) or virtual floppy cannot be.

    How are your VMs configured?  Do they all have the same VHD?

    thx for replying my thread, i already check my ISO file, but there no problem with it, i still can't multiple VM, any sugestion
