Disable Time Sync in a domain (Server 2008 R2)

    Question

  • I got an Windows Server that is configured as a domain controller.

that domain controller is not actually working as a DC, as there is no clients machines that are members in that domain.

All the clients are in a workgroup, not in a domain, and they are using this server just for storing data.

I want to disable the Time Sync to Microsoft servers and to have the Internet Time Tab back.

how can that be done on a DC?

Since it is a DC, there is no "Internet Time" tab on the clock wiindow.

We are working with Server 2008 R2 SP1.

I know this is not recomnded in a domain, but we have a DC without memebers and we want to have some testing when the time sync is disabled.

    Thanks
