    I have a Site-to-Site IPSec VPN between my TMG 2012 and a Sonicwall.  i can access all network resources at head office from remote site OK, but i cannot surf the internet using the proxy, nor does the tmg client discover the tmg server from the remote site.  this tmg is an upgrade from ISA 2004 that was working with this configuration.  i've checked/rechecked all the settings/rules between the old and new servers but can't figure it out.

    “but i cannot surf the internet using the proxy, nor does the tmg client discover the tmg server from the remote site.” – do you mean the remote vpn clients(Sonicwall) unable to access the internet through head office(TMG)? What is TMG logging tell?

    Hi Nick, thanks for the reply.  Yes, i mean that the users in the remote office are not able to surf the internet using the TMG as a proxy.  there are no logs on the TMG showing that they are even trying.  i can see other traffic when they access internal resources from the head office, but when they try to surf the internet, nothing.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    To access internet, you should create network rule and access rule to allow the access from remote site to internet.
