    can anybody help me?
I think I have fallen foul of the new server restrictions.
I have a small new network to install.
I was advised to go the server 2008 route, with exchange 2007.
theis is a single server sute and the exchange install is telling me that I don't have a mailbox database.
all the sites I have looked at have told me that 2007 exchange will NOT work on server 2008 unless there is a server 2003 in there somewhare.
This seem ridiculous to me, I have spent a week on this one, the client is getting itchy.
If I cannot resolve this soon, I will format the drives and go for server 2003 and exchange 2003, at least that works.
why do Microsoft do this? I am really confused.
I have all the updates in place, totally default install on everything, RDP is working so I can work on it into the night, and really annoy my wife and family, etc.
thank you anyone who can help,

having spoken to my suppliers, I have been advised that maybe 2008 SBS is the preferred route, I will format the drives tomorrow, when I get the licenses, unless I get a miracle, and someone comes up with a solution, I can't belive I was so stupid to try and install 2008 and exch 2007 on the same machine,
