- I have three servers running MS sharepoint hosting same site . Do i still require three different licenses to secure all three of them , or one license will work for all of them ?
Does we require a single license for a FARM or its according to the application?
My license is covered in MS gold partnership.

- All depends on version of sharepoint you have. either moss with cals or moss for internet sites.
if it is moss for cals, i think it is just a per user/device cost, but internet is per server

I by no means am a licensing expert, but the above link seems to be one of the easier microsoft licensing explaination. But what i do when in doubt, ask what our microsoft rep says and document his response just incase.
