You're posting in the forum dedicated to the now-aging product ILM 2007, and that question's a little off-topic so you probably won't get a lot of responses.
I haven't seen the email you refer to, but it would not surprise me at all if evil-doers spoofed a Microsoft address and tried to phish for personal information. It's always best just to ignore/delete such messages.
