What is use of enterprise calendar? How does it save my time & effort? Enterprise calendar’s time should be in synch with project server or local machine? I guess server because there may be multiple users from different geographical locations. Let me ask you are the users allowed to change the time settings of enterprise calendar in the first place or not? If they can why would they do? I mean in what scenario it might be required to change the time/regional settings of an enterprise calendar? Does one plan have one calendar only or it can have multiple. Can one calendar be used for multiple plans?

Does that help? Please let us know.
- At the project level, your PMs can select an enterprise calendar as the Project Calendar, which controls the initial schedule of every task in the project before the PM assigns resources. At a minimum, you should have at least one enterprise calendar that shows the working schedule for your company. This calendar should include holidays set as nonworking time.
- At the resource level, every resource should have a Base Calendar specified that defines the resource??s normal working schedule. If you work for a multinational company, this means you should create an enterprise calendar for every country in which you have staff, and each of these international calendars should include the relevant country??s holidays as nonworking time.
- At the task level, your PMs can apply an enterprise calendar as a Task Calendar to completely override the schedule of the task. For example, if your PMs manage any type of network administration projects, they will probably need an enterprise calendar called something like Weekend Work Only that shows Saturdays and Sundays as working time and Monday through Friday as nonworking time.
Thanks a lot.
