Intune on Win8 or Win7 SPs

2012年1月16日 8:51Will intune be included in any of the future SPs for Win7 or in Win8. I usually do the remote deployments via Alteris. Any chances of Intune replace applications like Alteris? Can Intune help on Asset Management

I doubt Windows Intune will be included in SP's or Windows 8 as it's a subscription service. If Microsoft where to include it you can bet companies like Alteris will sue em again ;)
I''m not familiar with Alteris itself, but i know the concepts of similar programs and Windows Intune (with the current version) can be used for remote deployment of third party software. There are a few limitations for storage and how you need to 'wrap' things for deployment, but generally there shouldn't be any problems. As per your question of asset management, Windows Intune can be very helpfull for that as it creates complete inventories of found hardware and software on all clients it is deployed too. Furthermore you can view reports across specific hardware and / or software for all clients and subgroups of clients.
