    how to uses Windows settings-application in gpo let me know the usage of this policy.

    Hi,

    Software developers can create plug-ins for other applications using the Group Policy Software Development Kit. Then, applications preference extension can be used to configure settings for an application. For users, this extension allows you to configure settings for a specific version of an application for which you have installed a preference plug-in. The available settings vary with the application and version.

    As Bruce noted - you need a Plugin to use this extension. And there's no
    such Plugin in the real world, AFAIK... And others, too:
    The download link in this thread leads to nowhere.
