I just read that this has been released on April 1st. It is only 19 MB. I have in production SCCM 2007 R3 and Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010. I download the iso. Will this product replace what I have in place? I am sure I will have more questions but this is a start.

    Hi,

SCEP 2012 is full integrated in ConfigMgr 2012 and it is a role now and to upgrade to SCEP 2012 you should upgrading to ConfigMgr 2012 first (side by side).

I don't know what is that package (19M) because I don't have a VLS access now but I know that the product is "System Center 2012 Configuration Manager and Endpoint Protection" and it is 1712MB.

OK, I found that and I am downloading that now. I started to install the first one and it appears to be FEP 2012?

FEP 2012 was a beta standalone package for ConfigMgr 2012 beta and as I said SCEP 2012 is now fully integrated in ConfigMgr 2012.

    Hi,

Wihtout knowing as I don't have access to MVL either, my guess is that it is the standalone client for those not using SCCM 2012.

    But I am not sure.

Why would beta products be in the volume license section??? Can Rick Tan please look or check with someone? I now have to find another server to install SCCM 2012 on because there is no upgrade.

Does anyone know if I can migrate from SCCM 2007 R3 to to 2012 and still have functionality in both systems at the same time? I have alot of computers in my FEP console (500+) that I don't want to lose monitoring of if the migration did not go as planned?
