Having been given the requirement to implement a configuration management system for our network, I am using MOF as my foundation. I'm starting out with the Management layer, specifically the Change Management SMF, then I'll finish out the other Managment SMF's and eventually work through the rest of the Life Cycle. So far, it's made my job a lot easier. Since I work for a small company (less then 50 employees) I will probably end up removing some of the layers in SMF as it seems to be designed for enterprises.
