tried installing vista sp2 failed 4 times with E_Fail(0x80004005) after completing 3 of 3 , then reverted.
tried installing vista sp2 failed 4 times with E_Fail(0x80004005) after completing 3 of 3 , then reverted.
- I just got Vista home premium, sp1 installed with no problem. have installed Spyware Doctor and service providers firewall and antivirus program. tries it twice and got the error. turned off all the virus and firewall pgms, still failed. tried downloading from various sources, all failed. I was warned about Vista, I should have listened!
by the way, I have 3 USB hard drives, and 2 internal drives.
