I am trying to Merge an old GPO into the new SCM member server baseline 1.1 . However it does not give the option to merge in this instance
What is MS Best Practise for merge via SCM and when does it stop the merge ?

Sam,
You can't merge baselines from 2 different products, you can only merge baselines that are both associated with the same product. So you have to associate the baseline you created by importing a GPO to the same product as the other baseline.

How do you do that exactly . Say Im taking an old Windows 2003 GPO and I import it to SCM 2.5 , How do I associate it to a product please ?

2012년 4월 19일 목요일 오후 7:51소유자 yeah, we forgot to document that in the help file. its easy though, select the baseline, then click Associate in the actions pane, then select the desired product.
