Event ID 10028 after applying Exchange 2007 SP 3 Rollup 7 on SCC

Exchange CAS/HUB: Windows Server 2008 SP2 (with all actual updates) 2 Server with Windows NLB
Exchange SCC: Windows Server 2008 SP2 (with all actual updates)
All servers are physical.
We have updated our Exchange environmeadsfasfant from Exchange 2007 SP3 to SP3 Rollup 7. After this we get the Event ID 10028 with the following message:
Mapi session "/o=<Site>/ou=First Administrative Group/cn=Recipients/cn=<username>" exceeded half of the maximum of 16 objects of type "session".
I have searched for a solution, but I have not found anything. What can I do to solve this problem and what does this warning means?
Kind regards,
Markus

Hi
Because some third-party software on client side will try to contact with Exchange Server via Mapi. The event ID 10028 will generated on this time, and it will not have any effort on Exchange Server.
And, to change the value of the maximum permitted MAPI sessions per user from the default, you can configure the Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User registry entry.
Please follow the below Link
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842022
Hope it helps

Hi Feng,
Thanks for providing the information but in my case it will not work. i am still getting warning messages on my server. Also i found that when my users accessing from iphone or Ipad i am getting warning messages.
I have already applied Maximum Allowed Sessions Per user entry in registry.
How can i resolve this issue.

We are running Windows Server 2008 SP2, witch Exchange 2007 SP3 rollup 6 and are getting these service side errors too.
All the indicated clients/users are connecting via iPhones and/or iPads, no resolution.

Hello all,
Also received this event at a customer site after an upgrade to sp3 rollup 7. I suppose it is not related to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842022, but it seems related to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2656040 which is this regkey: "Maximum Allowed EAS Sessions Per User". I set this value to 25 instead of the suggested 16 since this customer has many high-demanding mobile users. Now we get some events that some sessions are using more than 50% of the value, "exceeded half of the maximum of 25 objects of type "session"".
Reading the event I suppose it means that these people are still able to work until they reach 100% after which their synchronization will stop. Exactly the reason why we implemented this key, to prevent certain iOS and Android devices from overloading the environment as this customer has experienced in the past.
