Trying to start UserProfileGenerator from the Lync 2010 StressTest and Planning tool, i get the error message (translated from german):
Error parsing default StressConfig.xml Error message: Error in the Xml file at section
Invalid xsi:type 'RGSCallConfiguration'
Funny thing about that is that there is no such section in the xml and the String "RGSCallConfiguration" doesn't appear in a single xml file on the whole HDD (according to "search in files" in VS2010)
Same behaviour on 2 different systems, including a LYNC FE Server
I'm at the classical wit's end, suggestions?

In order to run the Lync Server 2010 Stress and Performance Tool (LyncPerfTool), the Lync Server 2010 topology must first be configured for the scenarios. If Lync Server 2010 is not configured or is configured improperly, load simulation will fail in most cases.
2011년 12월 22일 목요일 오후 3:17Hi, 1 There are some error characters in SimpleUrlPolicy.ps1 file 2 The Response Groups created by ResponseGroupConfiguration.ps1 are already, but UserProfileGenerator.exe says "Parsing in stessconfig.xml error xsi type RGSCallConfiguration"

I have the same problem as Matthias, followed the guides, but couldn't get a solution from it. I wished, you had more ideas than a simple RTFM.
What is that error referring to?

I treid to setup again and hit the same problem. I stumbled upon the "translated from German" as I was using a German setup as well. After setting up a purely english environment I could open the UserProfileGenerator without any error.
So if you hit the same error message: It will work with an pure english setup, just not with a (German) localized one.
The real shame is that Noya Lau proposed and marked his post as answer himself, although it didn't answer anything.
