For some users Lync client is getting disconnected frequently in of my remote location, this was working fine before, only since few days we are getting this issues. the Lync is working fine in local where the Lync server are installed. I have checked Lync servers performance I did not find any issues.
Now how can isolate where the issues is..? Pls advise

2012년 2월 29일 수요일 오후 7:46enable lync client logging to see what exactly is happening. Is his happening with all uses in the same location or with some users. What if you connect those users on computers where users are not disconnecting. Where is the datacenter and what exactly the bandwidth is between datacenter where lync server is and remote location.

Hi,
This can be a prolem with the connectivity from the location to Lync Server. Lync clients are checking the status with the server every couple of minutes and by that time it couldn't able to talk to the server, it'll disconnect and try connecting again. do a simple ping test. just put a continues ping to the FE server FQDN and see the status of it when client goes down.

Maybe there are somethng wrong with edge server, please run lync server logging tool on edge server and get more logs about this issue.
