    Hi,

Just installed a Lync standard edition server and everything works perfect, except that we just noticed that if we open up the "contact card" on a user from the buddylist we cant see the phonenumbers (Work, Home...). If we look at the contactcard from within Outlook they are displayed as it should.

We can see free/busy information from the Lync contact card...so it's not completely dead... :)

Any hints on why we can't see the phone numbers?

I have the exact same problem!  I am using remote call control and lync will not find the phone numbers for me to call people with.

I found the answer with some Google-Fu.

    Hi,

I have done exacly the things described on the blog but we cant manage to get the phone numbers displayed on the contact card.

We have disabled normalization rules since the phone numbers in AD is not correct yet. (another project some other day...:) )

When we had the outlookcontact sync enabled, so the contacts where written to "Outlook" we saw the phone numbers but we dont want to use that feature.

Could it be some other policy?

you want address book normalization because lync use +E.164  format you must normalize ad phone numbers to +E.164 and after it , phone numbers will be show in contact card.
