답변됨 Office 2010 - Odd KMS behavior

I have recently setup a KMS host on a Windows 2003 SP2 box and have successfully activated my KMS key with Microsoft.  The problem I am having is that my current count is not going up.  I am deploying Office 2010 pro via Config Manager 2012 and used the setup.exe .admin to customize it before deploying.  The  program is successfully installed and is now on 6 PCs however my count is sitting at 1 and it didn't go till 1 until 4 of the 6 computers had the program installed.

How should I troubleshoot this issue?  I have tried completely disabling the firewall on both server and clients to see if this was the issue and it doesn't appear to be.

I wouldn't think it would be a CMID issue either.  If it was how would I check this?

    Thanks in advance.

Edit - I found this post which seems to point to a CMID issue, however based off the way I am deploying I wouldn't think its the same??

The issue appears to be that the KMS host is unable to publish to DNS and hence there is no SRV record.  When I manually set the host on each client ospp.vbs /sethst:FQDN I am able to register a count.
