Fun SharePoint metrics?

To help further spread the news about SharePoint at our company it might be nice to write an internal article that showed some metrics. Does anyone know if it's possible to report total number of pages of all site collections? Number of pictures uploaded? That sort of thing?
Any other ideas for "fun" metrics?
