Workflow mail is not getting triggered to a DL

Hi,
We have a workflow that will get triggered when an item is created and sends a mail to a DL.
the issue is, Not all the members are receiving the mail.
there will be almost 2000 people in the DL, and we have a number of sub DLs inside the main DL which we are using in the 'To' box.
We checked all the Child DLs are secured, but still only few are receiving the mail.

Hi,
It seems that all people inside your DL are not getting imported in sharepoint.
You need to verify these points:
1. Check if all sub DLs are marked as security group in AD or not.
2. In your site use a people picker and search for your DL this will show you the number of users inside that. Check if this is the correct one or not.
