How to monitor the monitor.

I discovered that my SBSMonitor SQL Database was causing excessive paging on my server. Partner support suggested reducing its size, but I really wonder if something else is involved. The server was performing very poorly, The performance report pointed to SBSMonitor. I turned it off and it has been fine since.
What I miss about SBS 2003 was immediate reports when certain thresholds were reached. Not so easliy done in SBS 2008. I would like SBS 2008 to immediately send me an email when it detects excessive paging. How do I do this? Can you point me in some direction to get this done?
Thanks,

See the following Technet article on how to configure SBS 2008 to monitor and report on netwrk alerts and performance counters:

Kevin:
I know this, but the only options for the delivery schedule are Daily and Weekly. Nothing about Immediate. (Recurrence: Daily / Weekly.) I would like it to email me right when it occurs.
SBS 2003 has this.
Thanks,
