Window 7 Image Backup Creation getting 'Media is not UDF format' error

Attempting to create an image backup on a brand new Windows 7 Home Premium computer. Getting and error when the computer is ready to go to the DVD media: 'Media is not UDF format'.
I happened to have installed Roxio/Sonic Easy CD and DVD creator prior to do the backup. Could this be possibly causing the problem?

Hi ,
The backup destination should be formatted as NTFS, FAT, or Universal Disk Format (UDF).
I suggest you use another disk to backup. It is recommended to use DVD-RW to backup. If no progress, please format the disk in the Windows and try again.
