XP Mode Hijacks Control from Win7

With XP Mode open (under Virtual PC in Win7) but minimized so that Win7 is in control, clicking on any icon on the taskbar results in XP Mode taking control from Win7 and displaying the XP desktop (and any open XP Mode applications). Thus, the tack that was desired (clicked on) is hidden behind the XP Mode desktop --- it did open, but is masked by XP Mode. To see that task, XP Mode has to be minimized again --- do-able but a nuisance.
Is there a control (check box, option selection, radio button, etc.) somewhere to prevent XP Mode from hijacking control from Win7, unless the XP Mode icon on the task bar is specifically clicked?

By default XP Mode won't hijack your Windows 7. The only place where there are settings for sending input to the VM instead of the host is the Keyboard section of XP Mode Settings.
You can access the settings by clicking on the Tools-->Settings menu from the XP Mode window, or by going to %userprofile%\virtual machines and selecting XP Mode and clicking Settings from the Windows Explorer menu.
