Virtual IP and prefered DNS IP in VM

Is it possible to set a prefered DNS IP in the VM? I am wondering even that's possible? When i tried for using openDNS service i get the virtual IP.
how do i enter through the LB to find my VM? just finding out if there is a way to do this?

Hi Dheemanth,
Can you tell us more about your scenario? Would you like to identify the Azure VM machine name? Currently the only way to do this is through the Azure portal. In our subsequent release we are adding support to retrieve this information via a SDK.
