    You may want to try Snippy. Its a tiny and pretty good tool  !

    It only does a full screen capture rather than letting one section off a part of screen and snipping it.

    http://xpsnipping.codeplex.com does a full screen capture then allows you to cut out the section you would like to keep. you need to drag a rectangle around the region and then right click and choose "Crop". then either copy it or save it.
