Hi,
Is it Ok to run the WSUS 3 maintenance script as part of a SQL maintenance plan so this process is automated? In addition to running the WSUS Cleanup Wizard I try to run this script at least once a week on all my WSUS servers. I would assume its Ok to incorporate this script, but wanted to double check. Thanks.

Both of them will be fine if run monthly; depending on the duty load of your WSUS server, you might even find that running the maintenance script only quarterly will be sufficient.Lawrence Garvin, M.S., MCITP:EA, MCDBA, MCSA

There is a PowerShell script available on codeplex that can be scheduled from Task Scheduler.Lawrence Garvin, M.S., MCITP:EA, MCDBA, MCSA
