we have an environment with a Lync Enterprise Server in a Resource Forest (AD2003) and in a User Forest (AD2000) a regular environment with Exchange 2003.
So we have a problem when we use Outlook client (2003/2007), because the presence doesn't refresh or do it intermittently.
We just used the KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968099, but nothing changed: we added SIP proxyaddress in Exchange (sip and mail domains are different) and now we can see the status presence, but it doesn't refresh (only obviously when starting chat or adding user to contacts' list in Lync client).
Do you know if this is unsupported or there are some trips to do?
Do you mean all users' outlook clients have the same issue?
Do you create two registry entries for outlook client following above document?
If still can not work, please try to get the more logs about this problem in the client PC.

The follow entry were present yet in Outlook 2003:
"RTCApplication"=dword:00000003and in Outlook 2007 (as wrote in MS KB) it's no need to create it.Which type of log do you mean?Another issue:When I wrote sip uri in Exchange Attribute in this way:"SIP:email@example.com" instead "sip:firstname.lastname@example.org"are there differences?Thanks again!
