OCS Settings for Mobile are not working

    问题

  • Hi,

I have OCS 2007 R2. I am trying to configure it on N8, HTC but it is not connecting. URL which i am typing is https://com01.abc.com..........it is reaching till the point of Certificate and from there it is not progressing further even after trusting the certificate and giving error. On HTC it is giving different certificate error even after allowing untrusted certificate.

I am able to use these server settings on my MOC client, i can type com01.abc.com:5061 and mode TLS and it allow me to connect. But these setting not working on Mobile.

  • Hi Hans,

To use Lync Mobile ...well, a Lync backend infrastructure is required.

    Won't work with OCS

    Cheers

  • Oups...my bad,

    you are totally right...

I was in my Lync world, but forgot that OCS also had the Mobility fonction with CWA.

Is the N8 a supported Phone for Communicator Mobile?

  • Hi,Hasan,

Does your external user access features except Communicator Mobile work?

Would you please turn on logging on your OCS Edge server and reproduce the issue then anaylze the logs?

Here is an old thread for your reference.

    Hi Sharon,
Yes external users are able to connect. And the URL which i am giving in Mobile is working when i give same URL in my MOC client. I mean if i give com01.abc.com:5061 on my MOC client, it let me connect but when i type https://com01.abc.com on mobile it doesn't work.

    How to turn on logging?

  • Is CWA is different thing than the normal OCS setting URL??? If mobile is asking CWA then do i need to configure CWA separately?? how i can verify if CWA service is working.
