We are a small business (<30 users) looking to move to exchange online. We currently have SBS 2008 (running exchange 2007), on the surface the switch seems pretty easy, but was wonder if there was anything I should look out for. Any quirks,
or gotyas to consider before I make the move?
Public folder support is for e-mail only, not contacts or calendars; consider using SharePoint Online or shared mailboxes if necessary
Shared mailboxes often take longer to access than end users are used to with internal Exchange systems; ensure your Internet bandwidth is sufficient for a positive end user experience and consider sending out some communications to properly set expectations
Make sure all workstations have the necessary updates prior to migration
Remember that cutover and staged migrations require new Outlook profiles, and mobile phone profiles will have to be recreated
