Many times I join a Live Meeting using only the phone (cell phone or landline). No web login involved. How can I mute my regular touch tone phone during this meeting? I have seen all kinds of links that talk about "web integration" for audio and clicking buttons on web pages / computers to mute audio, but none of them mentions how to mute a "regular" handheld phone. I would appreciate some details on how to do this.
LiveMeeting doesn’t provide such solution to mute attendees’ telephone for LiveMeeting session. The ability of mute attendees will dependent on the 3rd party provider of your choice. Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks for your reply - however I'm a little confused. Do you mean I cannot mute "my own" phone by pressing something like *6 ? I'm not talking about anyone else's phone but mine. I just don't want everyone to hear the background noise when I'm at a busy location.
When joining a LiveMeeting conf call, the organizer does provide us an 800 or 877 number to call. This can be called from a regular phone - no computer necessary.
As you may know, most other conf call providers (GlobalCrossing, GotoMeeting, Cisco, WebEx), do provide something like *6 to mute one's own line. I tried *6 with LiveMeeting but it did not work - even the organizers did not know what combination to press for this.
I would appreciate some clarification about this.
Thanks for your help, have a great day... simplify3000
