Shared Address Books in Outlook 2010

  • If your using Outlook 2007 or higher, you need to go to the account settings and there will be a tab for Address Books.  There will be a "New" button to add a new book.

  • Look in the Addressing, if you go to Tools, you should see all the available address books and in what order that Outlook searches through them.  You should be able to add the extra address book there.

  • but where do you add the actual file name for the address book that you are sharing between a team of people. I am not using Microsoft Exchange, I just want to use a share address book file.
